  My husband and I went to Hillsea Real Estate when we were moving interstate in order to find a rental property. We were very disappointed with the service given. When we went into the office the receptionist looked grumpy and didn't even give us a greeting when we came through the door. When we were handing in our forms for a rental property we had looked at earlier that day, she treated us terribly. She looked at us like we were garbage the whole time and didn't smile at us once. She didn't say 'please' or 'thank you' once.

  I have had the worst experience of my life dealing with a Sales Agent by the name of Julie Hepner from Hillsea Real Estate Runaway Bay. I am a tenant who is renting through LJ Hooker and the owner of the unit I am renting is selling the unit through Julie Hepner. This sales agent is extremely unprofessional and verbally abusive. She consistently breaks the RTA laws surrounding entry and contacting the tenants. I have told her repeatedly not to call me for any reason before 10.30 am as I am a night shift worker and she constantly calls me at 9am when I am asleep. Today, when she rang me early this morning, I re-asserted my rights by asking her why she is calling me at this early hour, she screamed at me "I don't like your attitude"!!!! I had to terminate the call as I don't appreciate being spoken to like that. She does not observe the RTA law of giving 24 hours notice before coming around for an inspection, instead she calls on the spot and says "I want to bring someone around right now". This is totally illegal. She has not shown me a signed contract as proof that the unit has a signed contract on it, nor has she served me with any documents instructing me to leave the property due to a sale. This company is not even a member of the REIQ. Obviously for good reason as they don't believe the law applies to them. Renters, buyers, sellers, who ever you may be, avoid this company like the plague!

  .She didn't care that we were struggling to fill out forms and look after our active 10 month old son. He knocked over some cards on her desk which we picked up and arranged neatly back for her. She didn't even say thank you when we did this. When we had finished filling in forms she simply sat back at her desk and said nothing to us - no goodbye or anything. Simply awful service. If this is how Hillsea Real Estate treats potential tenants who enter their office I dread to think what they would be like if you were renting from them.
